Lana Negrete

I was born in Santa Monica, CA. After graduating from SaMo High, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in business management, working in fashion marketing before becoming a mother.

Growing up in a musical family I never realized what a luxury it was for a child to learn to play a musical instrument until after I started my own family. This inspired me to start a non-profit called, “Outreach Through The Arts” which provides access to music education and arts to youth that otherwise would not have the chance. I combined those efforts with taking over my family’s legacy, the music store, Santa Monica Music Center.

It was the first of many opportunities for me to bring my passion, skills, and people together to work for the greater good. I humbly ask for your vote so that I can continue to do so at the local level.

Lana is a lifelong Democrat and a renter.
